Payment gateway

One checkout. Multiple payment rails.

Merchants integrate with SawaPay rather than directly coupling their application to a specific card processor. SawaPay Wallet remains native to the platform, while card processing is activated only through a configured acquiring route that can legally serve the merchant.

Cards + SawaPay Wallet

Use one SawaPay checkout integration to accept SawaPay Wallet and card payments whenever an approved card-acquiring route is enabled for the merchant.

Scoped API keys

Create application credentials with explicit permissions for supported payment operations.

Hosted checkout

Send customers to a SawaPay-hosted checkout so sensitive card entry can remain on an approved tokenized or acquirer-hosted payment surface.

Signed webhooks

Receive signed payment lifecycle events with persisted delivery attempts and safe retries.

Idempotency

Retry supported payment requests without creating duplicate SawaPay transactions.

Merchant settlement

Track gross payments, SawaPay fees, net settlement and refunds from the business dashboard.

Provider-neutral routing

SawaPay can route card acquiring through an approved upstream provider without forcing merchants to rebuild their integration.

Sandbox and production

Keep development and production credentials separated, with live card acceptance enabled only after the acquiring route is approved and configured.

Transaction API

Read payment and transaction status through the developer API and reconcile against SawaPay references.
